I have been married to my husband for 47 years. We have two grown daughters and 3 grandchildren (2 girls and 1 boy). I worked most of my married life and retired almost 3 years ago. I really enjoy being retired so my husband and I can enjoy our grandkids, camper, biking, our garden and my flowers. I will be unable to attend our reunion, but will be thinking of all of you.
Seems like the last 50 years has gone by fast. We celebrated our 50th anniversary June 26. We have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. I've worked most of those years at 3M in Pine City. My husband retired from being a truck driver. We now enjoy our time together and our grandchildren. I babysit them during the week as both parents work. I'm not in a rush to get things done like I used to be. Life is too short, enjoy the things you love. Hope to see you at the reunion. I plan to attend
I met my wife Sue at Bethel College. We've been
married 45 years, living in New Haven, Connecticut (where I went to
seminary), Iowa, Nebraska, and for the last 28 years in Washington DC. We
have 2 sons living in DC, and 2 daughters (in Florida and North Dakota). Our
4 kids have blessed us with 9 wonderful grandchildren (including triplets),
and another on the way. We haven't quite learned how to retire - Sue still
works as an oncology nurse; I'm a pastor and also run a nonprofit (City
Gate) that I started 15 years ago to serve low income families and children.

I did farming, custom farming and trucking. Then I worked approximately 14
years for Lofgren Trucking. The last 26 years I have operated my own
trucking business. I am presently trying to retire. Does anyone want to
buy a trucking business? |

After high school, I went to St. Olaf College for 4 years and then the U of M for 6 years. I married Bonnie Walbruch in 1975. We lived in Ottawa Canada for two years followed by a year in Bradford England. Since then we've lived in St. Paul. Enjoying being retired and doing what I want to do!! - I plan to attend the reunion|
After an injury and 3 months of rehab I sold my townhouse in Apple Valley and moved into Ecumen Seasons at Apple Valley, an independent/assisted living community. It's a beautiful building with all the amenities - wonderful food! I have daughter, granddaughter and great-granddaughter (4 years) with a great-grandson due in November. It's so exciting and fun! I stay busy with family, friends and activities offered where I live. *My mother is living so there are 5 generations.

I graduated from Augsburg College and studied at
the Post Graduate level at University of Wisconsin at River Falls,
University of Minnesota and the University of Oslo in Oslo Norway. I had
the opportunity to study under Knut Nystedt a prominent composer from
Norway who was Knighted by the King of Norway for his work in choral
music. I taught at Forest Lake Area High School for 39 years and also
directed choirs and played organ at several churches during the same
time. I currently started a new job as organist and accompanist at King
of Kings Lutheran Church in Woodbury. I have been married for 28 years
to Sue and we have twin daughters who are 22 and just graduated from the
U of M with a major in Biochemistry and a minor in Japanese. They are
both working in labs at the U and both would like to go to Medical
School. As you can tell, I started very late in life with a family, but
really love both of our daughters and the accomplishments they have
achieved throughout their school lives. Sue was in the marketing field
and also the health care industry. During my teaching career I was the
Chief Negotiator for the teachers for 28 years. I also served on the
Minnesota Education Association Board of Directors for 20 years and also
on the National Board of Directors for 3 years. Even though I retired
from teaching, I studied and received my Health and Life Insurance
license and also my license to sell Medicare products, which I am still
doing in addition to playing the organ on Sunday mornings. In my spare
time I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my family. I don't
know if I will truly retire or not because I enjoy being busy. I feel
bad that I haven't
kept in touch with many of my high school friends and colleagues and
hope to see you at the reunion.
Graduated from U of M in Home Ec. Ed; taught in Columbia Heights,

selling in 2005. Currently working at Recreational Supply in Forest Lake
handling cash receipts and Accounts Receivable. John is a volunteer
driver for Heartland driving individuals to medical appointments. He is
a Viet Nam vet and Commander of the Harris Legion. We have 3 children
who were all involved in college sports so enjoyed traveling to all
their events. Corey & Michelle are now based in Nevada with 2 boys.
Corey travels setting up major events all over the country and sometimes
we get to go along. Christina is an Athletic Trainer in Rochester
Indiana with her teacher and coach husband Ken Hughes. They have 2 girls
and 1 boy. Craig and Rachel are in Hermantown where he builds roads and
bridges for Northland Construction. They have a girl and boy. I enjoy
gardening, singing in Chorale, playing in 2 bands and Appalachian
clogging. Life is full and satisfying and we are very grateful.

I moved back to our Rush city in 1988,
marrying a farmer the second time around. Together we have 5 sons, but
lost Jame in 2008. I am still doing hair and selling wiggery to anyone
who needs it. I spend my Friday afternoons doing hair at our Golden
Living Center, to cheer the folks as best I can. Myron and I have begun
to spend more time in Texas in the cold months, as we bought a nice
little spot at Mission, Tx. We love to fish in Canada once a year as we
can and then hurry home so Myron can put up hay for our horse customers!
I think my country farm living stuck with me!

|Moulton||Allen||After Saint Cloud college I took a job as sales manager for Cessna Aircraft Company (7 years) based in Atlanta, Georgia. Following that I was manager of the Bloomington Skating Center in Minneapolis for 3 years. In 1978 I built a roller skating rink in Rice Lake, Wis and another in Eau Claire, Wis, and operated them until 2005 (27 years). Nancy and I moved to Loveland, Colorado in 2001 (since we always both loved Colorado - we were engaged on top of Pikes Peak in 1979), there we owned an operated 4 Curves for Women fitness clubs. I also continued operating the roller rinks from a distance commuting there each week with my plane. We sold the fitness clubs in 2008. Since then I have retired. Nancy and I have been married 35 years and have 3 married children and 4 grand children which all live in the area: Loveland, Fort Collins and Denver, Colorado. I am so very sorry I can't attend this reunion. And I, like Jack said, am sad that so many (10) of our classmates have passed - it is a real eye opener for all of us, isn't it? Thank you Elaine for keeping us all informed and working so hard to keep putting together these reunions. I, for one, really appreciate it Elaine. Thank you!|

Life is pure joy. Six grandkids keep Darcy and me plenty active, and
fill our lives with lots of fun and love, continuation of what our
daughters brought to our lives.
We both still work, Darcy in education and I am still in my retail business. We have been in Dallas 26 years and will celebrate our 46th anniversary this week.
I am saddened to see that so many of our classmates are no longer with us.
Unfortunately we will not be able to make it to class reunion. Have run and we will catch up with you at the next one.

Graduating Class of 1965, Congratulations!
I did not graduate with you but to many of you I was your first grade teacher. Imagine that!
My name was Miss Rolien back then. I met John Cedergren, at Moulton's Roller Rink. We, along
with several other teachers, met their spouses there too. We were married July 30, 1955. That's
60 years for us this year. Joanne Lofgren and Jamie Lindstrom sang at our wedding reception.
John and I have been house parents for missionary children in Liberia, West Africa.(3 yrs) And
we founded a Bible training center in the Philippines which is still in operation today. Both of
them rewarding experiences indeed! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of this great event!
