Moved to Mpls after High School. Married Bill Carter in 1967, we had 3 daughters. The oldest is 33 and the youngest will be 27 in March, 2000. I was a stay at home Mom untill 1977. I worked at Target as a Dept. Mgr for a couple years till we moved to Coon Rapids. I stayed at home and started a volunteer program at the grade school. In 1985 I went to work and managed a small uniform store for a couple years. I started work at Empci Inc. which is a durable medical equipment Co. as a bill collector. I am still working there. My husband died on Sept. 16th 1999. Our oldest daughter is a nurse, is married, and has 2 children. Our second daughter is a computer programer, is married, has no children. Our youngest daughter is also a computer programer and will graduate from collage this spring. |

Went to Ancorage Alaska in 1964 during service and fell in love with the place. I married Valentina Algharbi June 14, 1998. She has a 2 year old son Zaymar. We have a new baby boy born in January 2000, his name in Noval. I help start social programs in Alaska. STAR(Standing Together Against Rape), Adult Day Care Services, Job Focus 2000, and now working with location employment for seniors 50 and older. I write for a hobby and for my work. The only time I get outside Alaska is when the Job sends me out. |

Since graduating from RCHS I have been pretty busy. I began college in earnest in 1963, I tried some before that but didn't like it. The college was in Nebraska. I was married in 1967 to Susan from Fargo. I graduated from college in 1968 with degrees in English and Psychology. Susan continued college and I entered grad school in'68. In 1972 I was ordained a Lutheran Pastor and have worked as such ever since. Faith in Forest Lake (72-78), Augustana in Duluth (78-80), Lutheran Social Service in Saint Paul (81-90), and Hope in Saint Paul 1990 to present. My wife is a special education teacher in Stillwater, our son Jon is 29 and works in graphic arts and has a touring band, our daughter Jennifer is 24 and is an elementary teacher. I have had the chance to: Camp all over the U.S. Travel in Europe a couple times; play 5 string banjo in a bluegrass band; restore some old tractors, some old houses, and build a few hot rods (they call then street rods now). I still have and drive some of the old cars I had as a kid. I could have done this a lot sooner but thought I had to use a computer to do it. I expect to be with you all at Hinckley. Connie Warner |
